Colin went from benchtop to barrister, earning a Bachelor of Medical Sciences and a Master of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology before attending Osgoode Hall for law school. He now brings his passion for pharma and (bio)tech to his legal practice, assisting clients with regulatory and litigation matters.
Colin is also a registered trademark agent and leads the firm’s trademark prosecution group. He has provided subject matter expertise and developed course content, including lecture videos, quizzes, assignments, and readings, for the online course, Introduction to Trademarks for Creative Entrepreneurs as part of eCampusOntario's Virtual Learning Strategy (VLS), in collaboration with OCAD University and University of Windsor’s Faculty of Law.
Colin is a product of the Gilbert's farm system, having summered and articled with us. Known in the office for his funky socks and pocket squares, on game days you will often find Colin donning blue and ditching his desk for the Dome to support the Toronto Blue Jays.
