Jack is an associate at Gilbert’s LLP, primarily focusing on patent litigation and Ontario Superior Court matters. Prior to summering and articling with the firm, he completed his Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering) at the University of Manitoba where he received the Canadian Society of Mechanical Engineers Gold Medal.
For parts of five years, Jack operated and tested prototypical agricultural equipment throughout North and South America. It was in the midst of this work, while sitting on a beach in Uruguay and reading Motley Crüe’s autobiography, that Jack decided to make the switch to law (long story).
Jack spends his spare time reading and getting progressively worse at the bass guitar. Despite countless attempts by his colleagues to lure him to the dark side (the Maple Leafs), he remains loyal to his one true sports love: the Winnipeg Jets.
