During her time at Osgoode, Miriam was the Co-Director of Entertainment for the Entertainment and Sports Law Association and volunteered with Artist Legal Advice Services. She also worked as a Summer Fellow at the Osgoode Intellectual Property Clinic, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in intellectual property law. Miriam was honored to receive the Gurston Allen Prize in Conflict of Laws, awarded to the student with the highest standing in that area of study.

Miriam is particularly interested in helping artists, content creators, and entertainment businesses protect their intellectual property and build sustainable practices in today’s digital world.

When she’s not working, Miriam enjoys spending time with her family, baking gluten-free treats and getting lost in her YouTube subscription feed. She’s also a nature enthusiast and enjoys hiking with her cat, Mouse, who’s always up for an adventure.
